Why I Always Ask to Use Their Bathroom

It has nothing to do with needing to pee.

Here’s something odd I do during tenant screening:

I ask to use the bathroom.

Not because I actually need to pee.
But because it gives me a reason to step inside their current place.

And that tells me just about everything I need to know.

Think about it…

You get to see the real them.
How they actually live day to day.

Is it tidy or trashed?
Are the floors clean …
