Trust… But Also Verify Their Last 2 Landlords

Especially when the current one wants them out.

“Yeah, they were great tenants. Paid on time. Took care of the place.”

Ever hear that from a current landlord?

They might be lying.

Not because they’re bad people.
But because they want the tenant out.
And giving them a glowing reference is the fastest way to make you their problem instead.

That’s why I never trust just the current landlord…
